(Perek 5:28 and 5:32)
Hiram gave Solomon trees for the Beit HaMikdash and taught Bnei Yisrael how to be tree cutters. In return, Solomon gave Hiram wheat and oil.
By doing this, Solomon is expressing his wisdom. He is creating a culture of knowledge by having his men learn how to be tree cutters from the best tree cutters.
